Of particular cultural interest is the Archbishop Church "S.
Maria Assunta", which dates back to 1183.
It was rebuilt between the XVth and the XVIth century, and finally restored to its present state in the late
XIX century. Beside the church is the Saint Valentine's Chapel with its
Renaissance loggia, which played a special role in plague times. Holy Mass was celebrated up here, so that the priest could be seen
by the whole congregation.
